  • Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a scheme launched by the government GUJARAT SITE with the objective of providing affordable housing in urban and rural areas in India. Under this scheme, CLSS or credit linked subsidy is given to first time home buyers.

The maximum subsidy can be up to Rs 2.67 lakh. It is a  new scheme sponsored by the Central Government. You will be able to avail this scheme till 31 March 2021. If you have not availed this scheme, apply through this simple process.

Who will get subsidy

  • 6.5 percent subsidy under EWS section for people with annual income up to Rs 3 lakh
  • LIG 6.5 percent subsidy for people with income between Rs 3 lakh and Rs 6 lakh
  • MIG1 4% credit link subsidy for people with income between 6 to 12 lakhs
  • A person with an income of Rs 12 to 18 lakh gets the benefit of MIG2 section and is a 3% credit link subsidy.

  • Under this scheme subsidy is given to first time home buyers according to different categories. It is a Central Government sponsored scheme which was new launched on 25 June 2015

  • To avail this scheme, first of all log on to PMAY website
  • If you fall under LIG, MIG, EWS category then click on the other 3 components.
  • Enter Aadhaar number in first column here, write your name in Aadhaar in second column
  • Then on the page that opens enter your personal details like name, address, family members information.

  4. Accredited public authority or government knocker who checks the identity of the customer and the reliability of the residence
  5. Last last utility bill.
  6. Rental agreement on stamp paper
  7. bank statements displaying the address of the borrower of any commercial nationalized bank.
  8. Credit card statement not older than 3 months.
  9. Life insurance plan
  10. Certificate of Resident Address by the Company on its letterhead.
  11. Property (house), copy of sale agreement if settled
  12. Municipal or property tax receipt
  13. Post Office Savings Bank Account Statement
  14. Pension or Family Pension Payment Order (PPO), issued to retired employees by government departments or public sector undertakings and should have an address.
  15. Letter of allotment from a company issued by state or central government departments, legal or regulatory bodies and public sector undertakings, scheduled commercial banks, financial
  16. institutions and listed companies. Similarly leave and license agreements with such companies allocating ceremonial accommodation.
  17. Documents issued by government departments of foreign jurisdictions or letters issued by foreign embassies or missions in India.

  1. Receipt of last 2 months salary
  2. Bank statement of last 6 months of employment account.
  3. Last Form 16 / ITR.
  4. Other documents Other documents in relation to the running loan with 6 months repayment bank statements.

  2. Copy of sale agreement (if executed)
